Networked environment migration — complete life cycle
The project was to re-engineer a number of back office applications linked directly to data communications equipment, to a networked environment where the communications equipment was isolated from the server by a TCP/IP network. Designed a solution including hardware selection and software modifications, then implemented, tested and rolled out.
Key technologies: Oracle 8.0.6 / C++ / HP-UX 11.00 / TCP/IP / RS-232.
